Dennis K. Gaines was initiated into Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. via the Delta Xi Chapter at Albany State University.  Later he became a Charter Member of the Decatur GA Alumni Chapter.  His love of fraternity is widely known.  He provided wise counsel to many new members and exemplified the true meaning of a Kappa Man.  In his memory, the KAPsi Foundation of Decatur, Inc. has established a scholarship that will benefit students at his alma mater.
